Who we are…

Hello, we are team Hydro kinetics. We are a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) building team who are competing in the MATEROV competition. Our objective is to build an automated underwater vehicle that will correlate with certain tasks while making an underwater vehicle that suits personal demand at the same time. We do this using the strategy of teamwork, building, and marketing.

We travel to many parts in the United States during the MATEROV competition. This gives us the chance to see new places and learn more about the capabilities of our ROV. Using different tools, doing experiments, and working together is what drives us as a team. While this does give us an adventure of mind, it also gives many of our team members a chance to learn many things that can benefit to them in the future. This includes college and jobs like different types of engineering, building, technology, computer aided design (CAD), and so much more. We also get to go up against other teams just like us and learn about different techniques and strategies from different places.
